For over 65 years, Michiels has been transforming cereals into nutritionally high-quality, safe and consistent food products. We are a Belgian family business, four generations strong, with one specialty at our core: wholegrain cereal processing.
As producer and partner, we control the full chain in-house, from grain selection to finished, packaged product. And we work closely with every customer, whether we are supporting humanitarian nutrition programs or producing for retailers and brands.

Producing food is a responsibility in itself
Whether it ends up in a humanitarian program or on a supermarket shelf, every product we make has to be nutritious, safe and made with care. That is the impact we aim for: good food, made responsibly.
We make the most of every grain. We use the whole grain, and the very small side streams that remain go into animal feed. Our sourcing is aligned with the EU Deforestation Regulation, and we keep investing in energy-efficient production and in robust packaging that reduces food loss.
Through our food aid work, we also contribute to Zero Hunger, the second Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations.
